Highfield features great lake and mountain views and its own private car park. The beautiful rooms have en suite bathrooms and tea/coffee making facilities. nice lounge and patio. The parking area was exceptionally good and very close to the rear entrance. There was more choices at breakfast than anyone could possibly need.

A 5-minute drive from Bassenthwaite Lake, Ravenstone Manor is an 19th-century manor house set in 3 hectares of ground. The property is at the foot of Skiddaw, overlooking Bassenthwaite Lake. Everything. Usually stay in Keswick town but decided on a change and so glad we ended up here. The hotel is decorated in perfect style, quite decadent, lovely snug and lounge area to see the views. Walks close by and Keswick ten minutes away by car. The hotel is dog friendly and there were a lot of dogs. Doesn't matter to me but to anyone not that keen the dogs go in the dining areas as I know friends of mine would not stay there for this reason , but a perfect spot for the many dog lovers. Lovely to lay in bed and have a beautiful view 😊my room was smallish but honestly big enough as really, how big does one need? 🤷🏼‍♀️

Set in 2 acres of tranquil wooded gardens. The charming rooms have TVs and tea and coffee facilities, and many have breathtaking views of the valley and fells. We had a magnificent stay at the Borrowdale Gates Hotel. You have everything you need at the hotel. And it’s a nice getaway from the city. Close to Keswick and the beautiful hikes in the Lake District. Highly recommend!

Fantastic accommodation, clean & nicely decorated. some nice personal touches & very accommodating owners.

Just 2 miles from Keswick, The Coledale is a 19th-century country inn with 2 traditional bars and elegant rooms. Location was great and food was amazing

Located in the heart of Keswick, the refurbished Skiddaw Hotel offers good food, and spacious rooms with tea/coffee making facilities. Food excellent. We ate dinner twice with our guests. Scrambled egg at breakfast was the best I've had. Made to order! Room very good. Public rooms well appointed.

The Mary Mount Hotel ligger ved bredden av Derwentwater, midt i 2 hektar med skog og hage. Rommene har eget bad og utsikt over landskapet. Hotellet har restaurant. Vi likte beliggenheten, spiseområde og det hyggelige personalet. Vi bodde i The Lodge som var meget behagelig med fine rom og god plass. Absolutt verdt prisen. Frokosten var også meget god med godt utvalg. Vi spiste middag en kveld og den var god med store porsjoner, og verdt prisen.

Everything was perfect except charged and extra 48.00 sterling for 1 x child for 2 x breakfasts. This was not identified on the Booking.com booking that stated breakfasts were included.
