Beaumont Hotel is situated in the heart of the market town of Hexham, less than 10 minutes’ walk to the rail station. ideal location in the centre of town. friendly staff and great food. the room was comfortable and well furnished.

Situated in the village of Armathwaite with its views of Cumbria Pennine fells and the River Eden, The Dukes Head is a traditional country Inn where guests can enjoy a drink, traditional meal and... The room was very comfortable, with a seating area and a good shower room. The breakfast was excellent with a good variety on the menu.

Gjestfrie. Ble tatt godt i mot selvom jeg var helt utslitt av å gå ca. 2 mil. Rommet var til over forventing, med badekar midt i rommet. I tillegg til eget stort bad med dusj. Veldig romlig.

Situated in Brough, 34 km from Askham Hall, Wilding Hotel features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. We know the property has just been refurbished and all is brand new- but it has all been done to the highest standard possible. It is a family run hotel and everyone pulls together. It is both rustic and stylish and there wasn’t anything that I saw that I didn’t like. Even the door cards were made of bamboo! The rooms are beautiful and the bed head boards were my favourite thing! Solid pieces of wood- so natural but stunning. Comfortable beds with amazing pillows! Beautiful decor - not fussy, just stylish and classy. Rooms cleaned/beds made daily and a lovely touch was having slippers waiting for you on a tray where you leave your shoes, and COMPLIMENTARY soft drinks in the fridge, to have whenever you fancied them. Now that is a first 🥰 and beautiful thick heavy bath towels. There’s a great choice of rooms- double/king/ family/ small double all very tastefully decorated - and 2 Bridal suites to choose from on the top floor with amazing en suite bathrooms. There are 2 gorgeous accessible rooms in the bungalow further down the drive too. The staff were brilliant- so accommodating and friendly. Thank you to each and everyone of you for making our stay there so relaxing and enjoyable. We will be back. Linda & Chris Brown 😃

Located in Barnard Castle, 2.5 km from Bowes Museum, Runa Farm provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. The place was beautiful, staff were so friendly We had food on the night time in The Smithy restaurant attached to the hotel. The food was tasty and well served. We opted for the traditional breakfast in the morning as part of our stay that was top quality

Set in Haltwhistle, 7.5 km from Thirlwall Castle, Manor House Hotel and Restaurant offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. The room was perfectly comfortable. The charm of such a historic building cannot be overstated either. The food was excellent. The staff were friendly and inviting. Also, the distance to Hadrian's Wall is an easy hike. Overall it was wonderful.
