Set in Doune, 19 km from Lake of Menteith, The Woodside offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. This 3-star hotel features free WiFi and a bar. We had a great stay including dinner & breakfasts at the hotel. The top marks go to the staff - there were friendly and very welcoming. From check-in, through the whole stay - including dinner and breakfast. The hotel is nicely renovated, beautifully decorated, clean and cosy. We enjoyed our dinner in the restaurant. The food was very tasty with and the whole place was very welcoming. Breakfast was excellent - they have more options than traditional Scottish breakfast, all very good and tasty. We had a very relaxing weekend stay - highly recommended and well worth the money spent!

Situated in Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park and on the edge of Loch Earn, this hotel has a peaceful location surrounded by beautiful Scottish countryside. The full Scottish breakfast was excellent and it really helped to kickstart a few wonderful days. As ever, Robert and Amanda were fantastic hosts, as they have remained for the last twenty years or so!

We didn’t plan on being in Stirling, but it ended up being the highlight of our trip. The hotel is located centrally and the breakfast downstairs was delicious! The staff were very kind and accommodating. The room was cozy, clean, and lent itself to a wonderful evening of rest.
