Nestled in the picturesque Scottish Highlands, Fonab Castle, refurbished and opened in 2013, boasts luxurious rooms, scenic views, mature gardens, free WiFi, free parking, and 2 restaurants. Loved the spa and pool. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious and we had the Best dessert ever! Caramel Toffee Pudim OMG too good! The chateau is lovely and the surround countryside is picture perfect.

Offering free WiFi throughout the property, The Crees Room only NO BAR OR RESTAURANT is situated in Abernethy, 34 km from Discovery Point and 38 km from St Andrews University. Very friendly and lovely atmosphere throughout the place. The room was very nice, comfortable and big enough to lay out the suitcases. We had dinner in the restaurant and enjoyed the food and service there as well. All of it at affordable prices. I can recommend a stay here without reserve.

As ever, Robert and Amanda were fantastic hosts, as they have remained for the last twenty years or so!

The Merryburn - Rooms and Courtyard Studios is a few minutes' walk from Dunkeld and Birnam Railway Station at the gateway to the Highlands and is a listed Victorian building. Large room, well equiped and very clean. Very nice and helpful lady of the house. The consumables like coffee, milk, sugar etc were great, certainly when you arrive late.
