Greshornish House Hotel features free WiFi in public areas and views of sea in Edinbane. Among the various facilities of this property are a garden and a bar. Perfect, magical, cosy. I think this IS a must in every bucket list. The food is absolutely amazing and the staff makes you feel at home. We went on a cold night and the fire was on, we had a perfect dinner and had the BEST night sleep. I Will recommend this hotel to all my loved ones

In 15 acres of private grounds, this hotel boasts spectacular views over Portree Bay to the Cuillin Mountain range. It has an award-winning restaurant and a range of whiskies on offer. Perfect stay, totally recommend. The BEST part was the breakfast, delicious and with the BEST views.

It is in a sleepy, but beautiful, part of Skye. It feels like a real rest. The staff was absolutely wonderful. We also enjoyed the 10-course tasting menu at the restaurant. This was a lot of fun and a real treat. Finally, the beds at the Lodge are the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on in a hotel. We would happily return anytime.

Nice breakfast. The surrounding was also beautiful. The newly built bar were great! So nice to come and stay at a distillery. Jo who did the tour and tasting was brilliant! And the breakfast was so taste and with that view, you cant start your day better! We have really enjoyed our stay and we would like to come back to this little nice island.

The location was lovely, the staff were friendly and welcoming, the food was delicious and the chef took personal delight in receiving our feedback. The social bar in the pub was amazing and locals very welcoming.

On Islay’s famous Whisky Coast, in the fishing village of Port Ellen, overlooking the harbour and marina and just 2 hours by ferry from Kennacraig on the Scottish mainland, The Islay Hotel offers a... We were a group of 3 doing the whisky trail and ended up on Islay. What a wonderful property to stay at, on the island. The hotel is in a very good location, very near to the Port Ellen Ferry terminal. There are restaurants, a pub and a convenient store nearby. We had the family room which had 3 separate beds and a folding bed. The room was very spacious, well appointed and clean. There was plenty of natural light and the windows are very well placed to allow for cross-ventilation. Heating in the room was perfect. The bathroom is fairly large and roomy, very clean and had all basic amenities like body wash, shampoo, overnight kit, etc. The shower has fantastic water pressure and hot & cold water are seamless and the controls easy to manage. The beds are quite comfortable and offered a very good night's sleep. Although, the property is right by the main road there is hardly any disturbance from the street below. There is daily housekeeping and it's nice to come back to clean sheets and fresh towels. Excellent choices available for breakfast, which is a table service, but unlimited. A lot of pluses staying at this property.

Susan and Stephen were really welcoming and knowledgeable about the islands. Room was really comfortable and well equipped. There is a restaurant that serves breakfast and evening meals, all home cooked and great quality. Bonus of a lovely bar for a drink in the evening, and the views of the sunsets were amazing. There is plenty of parking and the hotel is in a great place for exploring the local area.

It was a pleasure to chat with her in the mornings at breakfast (which was also delicious).
