Afro Beach Resort is a very unique and - to us - the most beautiful place in the area. We really enjoyed the quiet, clean beach right in front of the resort. The rooms are very clean and the food is delicious. While most of the other neighbouring resorts are owned by europeans, Francis is from the local community in Busua. He built up this amazing little resort by himself and takes really good care about his guests. He even walked us home from Busua and took us somewhere to watch the World Championship finals, organized a bonfire night and showed us how to play the drums. Also Eva walks the extra mile to make the guests happy. We will definitely miss the fun nights at the bar and the great conversations! We will come back for sure!

From long conversations about the history and people of Busua to the different and interesting happenings in the area, my mornings and evenings were filled with enlightening conversations. The beach is beautiful. The waters are calm and clean, there are two surf schools and an island not too far from shore to explore. The food was 200%!!! Every meal was homemade and delicious. Your meals could also be made to order if you like. I was also introduced to a garlic pepper sauce which I will hunt down in Accra stores. The staff were attentive, hardworking and helpful. I also appreciated Mr Thomas, the driver who picked me up from the airport and dropped me off as well. He was prompt, professional and very friendly. Overall, I'm planning a longer trip and I will explore more of Busua, Dixcove and Cape Three Points.

Scorpion Hill Lodge features a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Busua. Featuring a children's playground and a private beach area, this property is located a short distance from Busua Beach. I had an awesome stay at Scorpion Hill lodge. I enjoyed the beautiful environment and the perfect location of the lodge.. The whole staff was super nice, thoughtful and helpful from the lady cook to the manager. I'll make sure to stay again at this lodge when I come back.
