It is located few meters from the beach and very close to the city center. There are free parking spots near the place. The room was very clean, renovated, the balcony was quite big. The bathroom was spacious and very clean. The hosts were extremely friendly, gave us very good recommendations and some home-made products as a gift. We will definatelly go there again once we are back in Crete!

Built in 1925 and classified as a monument, the GDM Megaron is located in the heart of Heraklion, overlooking the old Venetian port and within walking distance of all the major sights of the city. Outstanding staff - reception to breakfast to Restsurant couldn’t haven more welcoming or helpful and friendly. The location is excellent and easy to reach all the archaeological sites. Very hard to praise the hotel too much.

In diner have very romantic spots, and the attention by all the staff was great. We enjoyed.

The room had everything I like to find in a hotel room: a small kettle, some tea and coffee samples. The bathroom is nice and clean, bed is very comfortable. View on the sea... There was a nice rooftop at our floor. The room exceeded my expectations.

This location is great!! It is right next to the Heraklion Archeological museum, which is a must-see. We were able to walk here from the ferry port and the surrounding area is filled with interesting shops and hip-looking restaurants. Our room was large with a small balcony. The breakfast was exceptional! There was a ton of variety and it was all yummy. We also got room service when we first got in since it was late and that was also good! The pool was closed during our stay but the rooftop area is really cute with a nice view. The front desk staff was very helpful.

Even though we had a 1-night stay at the end of October, we did enjoy most of the facilities of the resort. You feel welcomed from the very first step in the hotel and during all the stay. Staff is just lovely! Very professional, friendly, and helpful. The atmosphere is relaxing, and we feel so recharged after our vacation. Also the hotel is very children friendly, all staff members were communicating with our 2 y.o. kid. A lot of activities were proposed every day for adults and for kids, like zumba, yoga, swimming pool activities, and disco for kids. The food is very tasty with many options to choose from 😋
