I really enjoyed staying at Electra Suites on my recent trip to Samothraki! I only got to stay for two nights but will definitely go back next time I visit the island. Stelios is a generous host and went above and beyond to make sure I had a good trip– in fact, on my first day, he actually drove me around the island himself so that I could visit the Sanctuary of the Great Gods and Chora! Even with the language barrier, we had a pleasant time conversing via Google Translate. The other staff at the hotel were friendly and made me feel at home. Overall, a lovely group of people to spend a long weekend with. I value peace & quiet when I travel, and so I appreciated staying somewhere without street traffic or restaurant sounds that was still close to the amenities. Stelios recommended a taverna with good food about a five minute walk from the restaurant, and I went back there several times. The name was Sta Kala Kathoumena and the walk takes you through the church's courtyard. If you can, I do recommend renting a car or a motorbike to get around the island– I came during the off-season and didn't realize how limited the public transit options were. I appreciated Stelios taking the time to drive me around, but I also knew he was busy running the hotel! The taxi stand on the waterfront is an easy walk- bring cash. I also spotted a scooter rental on the main drag. I have trouble sleeping, and felt very safe walking around Kamariotissa at night while trying to settle my thoughts. Stay aware of your surroundings and carry a flashlight for visibility, as there are few sidewalks in the side streets and you'll want to quickly get out of the way when people are driving through. Wherever you are in the village, you'll be able to see Mt. Saos or the sea. Rooms: The rooms were very clean, comfortable and modern. Alekas Studios is surrounded by a lush garden with hydrangeas, 150 metres from the beach of Therma. Excellent location, superb garden. Very good value for money

Beautiful sunsets to enjoy from your room patio! We were off season and they were remodeling the swimming pool, but the weather although good was not for swimming anyway :-). So, next year there will be brand new pool to enjoy. Special thanks to Sofia. She went far and beyond to make our stay as good as it was. She provided priceless advices for the island must see places as well as the hidden gems. Thank you Sofia!

Located in the area of Palaiopolis, Samothraki Village Hotel offers accommodation with free Wi-Fi, a swimming pool and separate children’s pool overlooking the Thracian Sea. The location was lovely, right across the road from the beach. The rooms were spacious and clean, the pools were wonderful, the breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and the staff were fantastic. The family friends we were traveling with got a flat tire, and the staff went above and beyond to help them get it fixed. Adults and kids were equally happy at the hotel, and we would definitely return.

The place was great! The room was new, very clear and comfortable, with beautiful view to the sea. Quiet and peaceful. Our host Yorgos is great men - very kind and hospitable. We did one of the best sail for fishing with his boat. I highly recommend this place for holiday!

Just 300 metres from Therma Beach, Orpheus Hotel features spacious rooms with forest views from their balcony. There is a sun terrace that is surrounded by blossoming bushes and trees. The hotel is in a great location close to everything but nice and quiet. The host, Christos and his staff and lovely and extremely helpful with local knowledge. We would definitely stay here again.

The apartments are 4 kilometers away from the port the ferry drops you in, the property is the only hotel in the area and it's bordered by agricultural fields so you'll hear sheep, goats and crickets close by. Inside they are spacious enough and have everything you need. A special shout-out to the owner Taifun and his wife who are easy going, helpful and always there to make your stay perfect.

Located 500 metres from the beach of Therma in Samothrace, Akamatis Giorgos offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and a balcony overlooking the garden and mountain. perfect quiet very clean. fully stocked kitchen large fridge in room. beautiful garden birds bees and butterflies! much hiking available all around! local bus available very close! would love to return! owners were sweethearts very helpful!
