Nestled against the banks of the River Barrow and surrounded by luscious green grounds, the 4-star Woodford Dolmen Hotel Carlow is located just outside Carlow. The ambiance was delightful. The architecture and the cleanliness were key.

With elegant décor, the rooms at the Talbot Hotel Carlow have en-suite bathrooms with deluxe toiletries and fluffy towels. Rooms also feature TVs, free Wi-Fi and a 24 hour room service menu. Such friendly staff facilities were excellent and location of hotel brilliant would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back

Everything was exceptional. Huge room and huge bathroom, great views. Lovely friendly staff. Fabulous evening and food in the pub followed by the best breakfast ever the next morning. The breakfast range and quality was the best I have ever had in a hotel. Wow, just wow! Thank you and we'll be back again I hope!

An ideal base from which to explore the beautiful surroundings of Carlow, Seven Oaks is a welcoming hotel, ideally located just 3 minutes walk away from Carlow town centre. Seven Oaks Hotel offers... The staff exceeded my expectations, always a smile, allowed us to stay in the dining room after closing as we met family. They served us in the living rooms/parlors. Food and bar service was excellent. reception assisted us with cab service and alerted us when the cabs arrived. We were delighted to learn our room was ready upon our arrival at 2 pm, especially since we had a family reunion to attend 30 miles away. The shower / tub had safety/ grip bars. towels were plentiful. Excellent hotel.

I am convinced that Breakfast included the flakiest croissants in the entire world! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were completely charmed by our hosts. We felt that we checked in as guests and checked out as friends.
