Featuring a garden and a terrace, The Old Borough Hotel - Wetherspoon is located in Swords, a 10-minute drive from Dublin Airport and a 1-minute walk from Swords Castle. Check in was fast and easy and the young lady who attended to me was great, ordered us a taxi for the morning, opened the side gates so we could bring our luggage in (and use the lift due to my bad knee) Security guy helped me with the bags. Room comfortable and clean. The cost of drinks and food in the bar was out of this world - we had been in Ireland for a week and these were the cheapest by far! All staff were friendly and helpful, and our early 5.30am check out was painless as well.

I didn't take a breakfast and didn't use WI-FI. I was tired and after shower jump into the bed, wake up early, drink cup coffee and leave hotel...

The Clayton Hotel offers a free 24-hour shuttle to and from Dublin Airport, which is 10 minutes away and is located just off the interchange between the M1 and M50 motorways. Arrived early as we had to drop at airport. Staff on front desk checked us in early which was much appreciated as we were awake since 04.00

Tucked away in a quiet corner of ‘The Velvet Strand’, one of Ireland’s most stunning stretches of uninterrupted coastline - the historic Portmarnock Resort & Jameson Golf Links, once the family home... Really enjoyed staying here. And had a game of golf which was great. Very friendly place.
