The hotel was very nice and the room itself was wonderful, clean and well furnished. The pub that is a part of the hotel was great, with really good live music, a great atmosphere and terrific pub food. The location was amazing - Cong is a very picturesque village and the ruins of the monastery are only a two minute walk from the hotel. Couldn't recommend this hotel highly enough, we will certainly return in the future!

Breakfast was served each morning with amazing spread of traditional Irish breakfast. The hosts, John and Helena were absolutely amazing also James in the bar plus the rest of their friendly staff. The live music each evening was great and consisted of local talent in the area, which made for great entertainment. Overall, we loved our 6 nights stay at Danaghers and can’t wait to return in the fall. Highly recommend it and cannot thank the hosts enough for their amazing hospitality. We loved it! 😀🍀

Located in the town centre of Oughterard, the Connemara Lake Hotel offers free WiFi throughout the property and free street parking. For those who are not looking for the atmosphere of a common and standard hotel chain, but the typical Irish charm, this is an ideal place. The hotel is well equipped, very comfortable, clean, very welcoming. The breakfast, but also dinner if you wish, are very good, host are charming and very polite. Parking around hotel is free and easy, the coutryside is very nice.

Located in Cong and only 1.3 km from Ashford Castle, Salmon Weir Lodge provides accommodation with river views, free WiFi and free private parking. The breakfast was outstanding, large range of fresh fruits, juices, cereals, savoury tarts, hot if required, quality pastries. The views from our windows upstairs over the garden & trees. The stone fence in the yard was on the edge of the river with ducks swimming around. The hostess was generous with the use of her sitting room.

Breakfast was a full menu and delicious. It included cereals, fruit, full English and pancakes. Well prepared and great service.

Very quiet location, walking distance to town center. The room was spacious and very nice furnished, comfortable bed. We got a perfect Irish breakfast and pancakes.
