Surrounded by beautiful gardens, Shamrock Lodge Hotel is a family-run hotel located in the very centre of Ireland, just 5 minutes’ walk from the restaurants, bars, and nightlife of Athlone town... Everything.. from the start. Check in. Room was just fab. Big and so comfortable. Food was great too. Staff very helpful too. Coco in the restaurant as well as Aoife. PJ and Sean in the bar. Can't fault any of them. Thank you. We will be back. X

I've stayed in many hotels throughout Ireland & I would rate the Athlone Springs Hotel as the No.1 for hospitality & service. A special mention to Nicole in conference & events who is an absolute asset to the team & has made all my booking a breeze to organise. On the banks of the River Shannon, Radisson Blu Hotel, Athlone is situated in the town centre, overlooking the historic Athlone Castle. The hotel has a modern leisure club and stylish restaurant. Very clean. The staff were friendly and obliging. The food was lovely. The entertainment was fun.
