Anu and the rest of the staff is incredibly warm towards their guests and they really make you feel right at home. The property is old but charming with a nice garden. Rooms are clean, spacious and there is hot water. Arnab helped arrange our entire Ladakh trip and it was well organised. We already miss this place and hope to be back one day.

Situated in the ancient city of Leh, it overlooks the famous Cold Desert and the surrounding mountains.... The staff was very helpful as we acclimated to the elevation. They recommended what food to eat, to stay hydrated and even supplied oxygen for my husband when his O2 level was low. The beds were very comfortable and we had a quiet room with a great view.

Our trip was comfortable and service provided was satisfactory. Central Heating system, hot water and wifi facilities are available throughout the day without any interruption.

One of the highlights of my stay was the breathtaking views of the Dal Lake from the houseboat's deck. Waking up to the serene waters of the lake, with the majestic Himalayas in the background, was truly a sight to behold. The tranquility and peace that enveloped the surroundings were unparalleled, offering a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life. The staff at Houseboat were incredibly attentive and hospitable, always going above and beyond to ensure that guests had a memorable stay. From arranging guided tours around Srinagar to organizing traditional Kashmiri meals, they were always on hand to cater to our every need, making us feel pampered and well taken care of. Overall, my experience at Houseboat was nothing short of exceptional.
