This Viking-themed hotel is located at the harbour in the seaside town of Hafnarfjordur. Humpback whales can sometimes be spotted in the harbour during winter. Super unique hotel! A lot of thought and care went into its creation. Room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. Breakfast in the morning is great. Super cool find! We loved the fish pond in front and the viking decour :)

Great food and on both days we had a different breakfast offer🫶 Also, you have a stunning view out of the window and can watch birds and enjoy beautiful sunsets/ sunrises! We’d come back anytime!

Amazing views, comfort, supplied local food, the heated floors and towel rack are the only heat source and we were never cold inside this lovely cabin! Oh and the just installed barrel sauna with a window overlooking the lake and mountains! The horses across the road that would stare at us as we walked to our car in the morning, and make the best horse noices!
