Just 150 metres from the port, the Ossidiana is located right next to a volcanic-sand beach in the fishermen’s neighbourhood of Scari. The room was spacious, and it showed a little bit Eastern (Indian) style, which was great, and a balkon faced to the sea, so I could hear the voice of the waves, when I was sleeping.

Facing the beachfront, Hotel La Sciara offers 4-star accommodation in Stromboli and has a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, garden and shared lounge. Located in the best part of Stromboli, this hotel has a wonderful location, as well as a view, pool and breakfast service. The staff offered advice for exploring the island and were always happy to help arrange taxis and tours.

La Sirenetta Park Hotel is located just 100 metres from the coast and its unique beaches. It offers a swimming pool, a spacious garden and a gourmet restaurant. All rooms have a private bathroom. The property is beautifully situated on the ocean and is altogether charming with flowering trees, lovely balconies and views of the sea. There is a large pool and a small outdoor gym on the staff are extremely kind and helpful and accommodating. We stayed two nights and would easily have stayed longer. We thought it was one of the loveliest hotels and locations we had ever seen. We would recommend renting a scooter, however, to explore the island to travel to and from the ferry.

The place is not too far from the port, close to the beaches and La Libreria (for good wines in the evening). The garden was amazing and the hosts are super kind. We could check in earlier and when leaving, the hosts allowed us to leave the baggage while we had a last bath and once back from the beach, we could have a shower outside. The rooms are nice, clean and big enough. La Rosamarina is a great place to stay when you are on Stromboli. We would definitely come back!
