The Nichotel is set in the historic center of Carloforte, near the picturesque promenade and the central square where you can find a wide range of bars, restaurants and shops. Perfect location, sparklingly clean rooms, great breakfasts but the staff really made the whole holiday extra special. They were kind, attentive, knowledgeable and so very friendly. I lost my bag with my passport in it and they were super understanding helping me get it back! I wish all hotel staff were so invested in their guests well-being. Everything was better than we expected, and you are always our highest expectations. Hotel beautifully renovated, room amenities 100% condition, perfectly cleaned. Breakfast on the terrace = divine :) and so we could go on. And the bedding absolutely fantastic, we immediately got the same one (no joke). And the hotel staff is a chapter unto itself: They took incredible care of us the whole time, they were attentive and very helpful.

Owner and host Matteo is amazing, he’s very helpful and knowledgeable not only in the nearby restaurants, attractions and things to do but also for places further away (he recommended a hotel in Bari Sardo which was exactly to my liking but unfortunately already fully booked). The rooms are very spacious (despite the building being a former prison, they even have one cell still available on site, in case you don’t want to pay lol), clean and modern (it was renovated 4 years ago). Breakfast is also nice and filling, especially nice as you can sit outside in a shaded courtyard.
