Located within a 6-minute walk of Matsumoto Station and 2.4 miles of The Japan Ukiyo-e Museum, Onyado Nono Matsumoto Natural Hot Spring provides rooms in Matsumoto. I liked everything about this hotel but my most favorite part was that we could walk barefoot in the entire hotel, a lot more hotels could do that. The check-in was smooth, our luggage was placed in our room by the staff, staff who was friendly and helpful during our entire stay there. The room was clean and the dimensions perfect, not too small (there's a nook big enough to fit 2 huge suitcases) - plus, we had a view of the train tracks which for us is a plus (if you close the windows the noise from the train is diminished so no problem here). They have this amazing onsen that you can use from 3PM until 10AM (one of the pools is built under the open sky which is the best thing when it comes to onsens); after taking a bath you can check their pretty extensive manga collection (there are chairs and a desk where you can sit and read to your heart's content) and have ice cream (for free). You can have free coffee and juice and also a free late evening snack (soba/ramen mostly). 5 mins walk from the train station. Seriously, I can't imagine what is there not to like about this hotel (considering also the price which is more than fair).

Everything is clean and working well. There are various instructions and guides around the room and hallway. Because of this, you don't need to ask any more questions, just read 😄. They may allow early check-in subject to avilability. Hot water is working well, and the room was very clean. They provided free coffee and soup. They will also keep your luggage in case you need them to. There's a perfect view in the rooftop of Mount Fuji. 🤩 You just need to have the perfect timing when the weather permits.

Hyatt Centric Kanazawa features a fitness center, garden, a terrace and restaurant in Kanazawa. This 5-star hotel offers a bar. This a very elegant property. Our king room was large and spotless, it could accommodate comfortably 3 people. We loved the design, the colours, the details that make this a worthy 5-star property. We were very happy with the mix of Japanese and Western breakfast, both in terms of variety and quality. Fast self checkout was appreciated, as we had to run for the train (btw, despite being next to the station, the hotel is very quiet). Overall we loved this hotel and we would definitely choose Hyatt Centric again for our next Kanazawa trip.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in, EVER. Huge room especially by Japanese standards. Everything very modern and updated. Super friendly staff and beautiful views all around. Just downstairs in the building you will find both a mini mart and a pharmacy. So convenient for those last minute things you forgot to pack. Easy walk to the train station. We made the walk multiple time and it’s totally doable. Even with all luggage and middle of summer was not too bad. Would definitely stay again.

Central location and we learned how to use the city bus because of their location. Rooms are bigger than business hotels, loved the fact that the toilet is separate from the shower. Near a bus station that goes to chubu centrair, staff told us about it and it was the best way to get to the airport especially if you have heavy luggage. Staff also never forgot about my message to them asking them if they can send our luggage to the airport, they kept asking me from check-in until check-out. So thoughtful of them.

Front desk is superb. They have nicely folded origami to give out to little children - and my daughter was delighted! The rooms were nice and clean. We have two non-connected rooms, but as it was the peak travel season, we were glad we found a nice hotel like this one. Its location was also excellent. If you stay here, you must eat at the Prince Matsuba, Nakatsugawa - just opposite the hotel! During my entire stay in Chubu, this restaurant provides the best food at the most reasonable price and great servings.

Location was great for an overnight stay before catching the morning flight out of Chubu Centrair. It was also located near the Aeon Mall. The room was surprisingly quiet even though we stayed in front of the elevator as the room doors close quietly rather than with a bang like most other hotels. The drawback is that the walls are thin and I had the misfortune of having a noisy neighbor. The room was spacious although a little old.

Somewhat older property but in a stunning location and well-maintained. One negative, - access to the onsen lacks elevators and requires climbing stairs. The onsen itself is again a little dated but the location and views of the beach more than makes up for this. Our room service was superb - everything one can wish for in a onsen-ryokan experience. There is a free shuttle service to the Shimoda train station.

It’s clean, very well equipped with heater, cooking utensils. The owners are so nice and friendly. Language may be a barrier but they tried really hard to accommodate all our needs. The place is slightly secluded which is perfect for quiet vacation but you can still go to town centre by just taking 1 train to Karuizawa station and the owners are nice enough to drop and pick you!
