Situated in Banlung amidst tropical greenery, Ratanakiri Paradise Hotel & Restaurant features environmentally-friendly accommodation in the Ratanakiri Province. I called from the bus station at 6:00 in the morning, asked for a pickup and after 20 minutes I was picked up by an 4WD car. I got my room at 7:00 AM in without extra charge. Delicious breakfasts, amazing view from the restaurant and pool. Nature, peace, rest, a tropical garden and a manager who helped me with planning local trips. I highly recommend. Bee Bees Chalet is a true homestay where the family live in the same wooden chalets as the guests. The 3 children are adorable as are the parents. The oldest son - BeeBee speaks fluent English as does Nita, the mother. The evening meals were excellent. This was our first stop in Cambodia so we were a bit taken a back by the cold showers and no air con but it was absolutely fine. They organise all sorts of trips. We did the boat trip which was good fun especially as BeeBee joined us. We learnt so much about Cambodia from this lovely family.

Incredibly nice and open-hearted family with lots of good visions for the future. The self-built homestay has a detailed and charming character and eating together at the family table was very personal and nice(and of course very delicious). In addition, my friend and I got a good impression of the weekly English lessons that they give for free to the children of the village. They also have a good and customizable offer for jungle trekking with local guides. Thanks for the nice time and my recommendation.

The guest house has a sun terrace and views of the mountain, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant. the location is not in the centre, but in a very beautifull green garden the bungalow was very nice with a balcony in the garden excellent couple running the guesthouse- great hospitality

Boasting mountain views, Green Hill Homestay, Restaurant & Treķking features accommodation with patio, around 4.2 km from Yeak Laom Lake. Lovely hosts - they kept in touch with me on the day of my arrival and offered to pick me up from the bus station. The property is situated a bit outside the central town area, which gives it a really tranquil and peaceful countryside atmosphere without being too far away from amenities. Depending on the weather the lake and shops are walkable but you'd be wise to consider renting a moto (the owner offers tuktuk rides as well). You can enjoy a spacious deck/terrace overlooking the forested hills around the Boeng Yeak Lake. Rooms are simple, modest but clean and with all the essentials you'd want - a comfy bed, mozzie net, a fan and an outlet close to the bed. Hosts speak English and the lady managing the property is a good cook - you can enjoy a range of dishes, including vegetarian options and fresh local fruit without having to go anywhere. All at reasonable prices. Moto rental, various trekking or even bus transfer options can be arranged as well. All in all really enjoyed my stay.
