This was one of the nicest places we stayed at in Sri Lanka! The hotel was absolutely beautiful but what made this place special was the people. We were welcomed and treated like family. We checked in a little late just due to exploring Sri Lanka and the GM even told us not to worry about check out time the next day- take our time, enjoy the pool and relax. The hotel only has 3 rooms so the staff is very attentive and take such great care of you. The meals provided by the chef were also delicious and very well prepared. Wonderful place - would highly recommend!

He made us feel so special and welcome. Thank you for everything Upul. You made our stay even better! We didn’t want to leave this place! Everything is clean, beautiful and peaceful. Really feels like the best holiday ever here.

Randy and his family were amazing host, the friendliest you can ever find in Sri Lanka, always willing to help and give attention. Food (both breakfast and dinner) were really tasty. Randy took us on his motorbike to visit the amazing landscape and lake around. We felt good from the very beginning and felt sad to leave such great people and souls.

Hotel was very comfortable and clean. Has a great pool area and pool. Good location for Yala and hotel organises it, best day in Sri Lanka so far! Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Manager is lovely and dropped us in town when we needed to get a bus.

The best part though was the amazing hospitality of Sanjeewa and his wife who went out of their way to help me and provide me with anything I needed. Oh and the food was great too! Perfect to stay before/after Yala safari, which they can organise for you.

Set in Yala, 42 km from Situlpawwa, Flameback Eco Lodge features concierge services and free WiFi. really friendly staff!! they went extra mile for our kid’s birthday, made a super special surprise with the cake and baloons. The tent was also really good, all the facilities you need were there. Such a peaceful atmosphere, we didn’t want to leave. Definitely will come back!

The owners are very friendly, the whole place is in very good shape and they have built a lovely garden which looks like a green oase. They showed us a family deer and organized an incredible Safari for us plus an excursion to see the bats at the lake. Our guide knew all the animals and even shared the German names with us. We can totally recommend this place :)
