Exceptional attitude 👍 really nice, warm sauna with pool available 👌 perfect for couples or smaller 4 pers. groups 👍 All was great, even got a little Birthday present on arrivals 🙂

This 4-star hotel Baltvilla is located 9.3 mi from the center of Riga, on the shore of a lake with a private beach area and on the Via Baltica highway (E67). Nice clean room - always a good start! The beds were comfy and we had the option of an additional bed if required. Heating and air conditioner in room which was good as we needed the heating when the weather got cold. There was a TV on the wall with Wi-Fi and some on demand services which I didn’t personally use. There was a desk in the room too which was useful and a kettle, mugs, wine glasses and a mini bar so everything you need. Friendly and helpful staff both at reception and in the restaurant. They helped me book an extra night and spoke perfect English so it was very easy. Nice breakfast provided, mix of hot and cold foods, salads, cereals, pastries and drinks. Choices of food changed a little bit daily so nice to have some variety. Lobby area was clean and nice with nice clean toilets and a small area for children to play. Lovely restaurant with nice food at reasonable prices and some beautiful heaters. Outside area was immaculate with a nice children’s playground and lovely walks. On the shores of a beautiful lake with a small beach - sadly we came when it wasn’t warm enough to swim but I bet it’s fantastic in summer! I shall definitely return on my next trip to Latvia.

Rooms were spacious, beds were big, everything was nice, tidy and clean. Reflected the same feeling as the pictures did - warm cosy and interestingly rustic themed. We had a good night sleep there with our family, neighbours sounds didn't penetrate the walls either. For extra there were small kids toys in the room, what gave it another great value. Garden was spacious with chairs, tables for everyone plus some gear for some sports too.

Staying here was magical! Lying in bed overlooking the Baltic was so relaxing. I took a long walk on the beach and only saw 2 other people the whole time. It was absolutely perfect for relaxing and getting away from the craziness of the big cities. Absolutely worth the several hour drive from Riga. The night sky was one of the top 2 night skies I have ever seen, being able to see every star in the sky and the Milky Way streaking across the heavens. It was an absolute highlight of my Latvia & Estonia trip. Bed was comfortable and the cabin was clean and had cute decor and even some cute battery powered string lights.
