Location was perfect, close to the port (1-2 minutes away and most of the islands restaurants. The local family who own and run the hotel were very kind and friendly, had some nice conversations. Quiet location (island is generally quiet, minus a few louder restaurants far enough away). Our room was immaculate clean as they have higher standards here than most hotels we’ve stayed at in Nicaragua. The air conditioning in our room was nice to have. Hammocks in the shade were great. Yard is very well maintained and manicured. We felt safe staying here. They also stored our bags for us after check out while we killed time before our Panga ride back to Corn Island. Nice hotel, kind people there. We’d stay here again and I highly recommend it to anyone.

We took the apt with the balcony and we didn’t regret it. It was amazing we even added one more night to stay at Christina and Walcott’s place. They are such a nice and kind couple and the extra thing is that the room with balcony has AC in it!

Front of the sea with great sunsets, the Italian couple there managing are such characters, the love what they do, and always up for a chat, they spent the time to explain everything when you arrive. Go out of their way to ensure you have a good time.

Nice and helpful staff in all areas... Clean and comfortable rooms, full service and privacy. It was beautiful to watch hung in the hamaca how all the staff takes care of the operation of the hotel:)) Great admiration, respect and thanks to everyone!!!  If I will ever come back to the Corn Islands, I will definitely choose your hotel with a beautifully maintained garden and friendly staff.. from cleaning to bar service:)  Thank you for the opportunity to have a wonderful rest in such a wonderful environment. Good luck to your hotel and you are always full!!

Το Lighthouse Hotel and Spa, Little Corn island, Nicaragua απέχει 1 χλμ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Παραλία Otto σε Little Corn Island. Ideally situated about 15 minutes walk from the pangas and most shops and eateries. Due to its location on the side of a beautifully verdant hill you have a nice breeze both day and evening. Bungalows are comfortable including the beds. The owners and volunteers are exceptional and did a nice job of making suggestions and creating a welcoming environment. Many thanks to Stephanie for cooking the delicious meals offered at the on-site restaurant and bar. As most large hotels and corporate chains have scaled back room upkeep and housekeeping while a guest, it was a an unexpected and thoughtful touch to come back each day to see that someone refreshed the room.

There is so much to discover on the large grounds and on the paths through the forest or along the beach. Anna, Derek and family are very warm people with whom we quickly felt comfortable and at home. The breakfast is great and dinner with everyone who wants to join is a nice and culinary way to get together. The on-site dive center is also great with breathtaking dive spots right outside the door, experienced guides and good equipment. We are happy to have experienced such a relaxed stay on the island through Derek's Place. That's why we stayed twice as long as originally planned.
