The views are amazing and you can just walk down and jump in. Staying at the resort you can use the kayaks for free. It was a great spot to relax. Although the resort does sell day passes for people to use their facilities, there were no day visitors the two days we were there (it was weekdays) and we basically had the place to ourselves. :)

Location was perfect close to the market and bus connections, walking distance from everywhere. Staff was super nice and doña Maria helped us with her known dedicated/trustworthy taxi driver for the rides to volcan Masaya and Managua airport. There is a fridge in the kitchen and WiFi works perfectly. When you go through the main gate it’s a surprise how large the house actually is with the inner garden and breakfast area.

We will be coming back again. The perfect weekend getaway. So relaxing. So beautiful. The staff is very friendly and professional. Roman even made us a fabulous dinner of sea bass, mashed potatoes, and a lovely blueberry cobbler. We slept peacefully and loved the whole experience. Next time we will do more hiking and adventuring - there is a lot to do here. We might even bring our kids and rent the larger house.
