Isang boutique hotel ang Hotel 1904 na matatagpuan sa sentro ng Ålesund. The breakfast was phenomenal. Everything was fresh, the fruits were perfectly ripe, the pastries were crackling, the breads excellent, fresh orange juice from oranges.... top notch. One of the best breakfasts I have ever experienced in a hotel (including expensive work related meals). The owner clearly spent money on top quality renovations. The doors to the rooms block all sound, double (triple?) pane windows mean that even when someone makes considerable noise outside, you are not disturbed. Building kept its personality, you know you are someplace special.
