This hotel from 1820 is located just off the E6 Motorway, 2 km north of Dovre town centre. It offers an on-site café, free Wi-Fi access and wooden-furnished rooms with a seating area. Everything. Beautiful location, great facilities, comfortable room, really good food and reasonably priced, friendly, helpful staff. A really good hotel, the best of our trip thus far.

Situated in central Dombås, this hotel lies 700 metres above sea level at the foot of the Dovrefjell Mountains. It offers free Wi-Fi, private parking and sauna access. The only issue we had was road closures due to heavy rain in southern Norway. The staff were very helpful to us in rerouting our travels.

Phillipshaugen Lodge has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Øksendalsøra. Among the various facilities are a bar and ski storage space. Beautiful location, wonderful people. Tranquil and relaxing. Made us feel at home and they were in no rush for us to leave, even making coffee long after the leaving time.

Oppdal Gjestetun is located in central Oppdal, 2 km from Oppdal Ski Centre. It offers free parking and guest rooms with a kitchenette, free WiFi access and a mountain-view balcony or patio. Just around the corner from Oppdal Train Station, this hotel dates back to 1924. It offers free parking and rooms with free WiFi and a private bathroom. Oppdal Ski Centre is a 10-minute walk away. The breakfast and hotel restaurant was amazing. My favorite breakfast on the trip and an excellent dinner for a decent price (compared to other Norway restaurants price wise).

This hotel lies in the village of Dombås and overlooks the Dovrefjell Mountains. It offers free Wi-Fi, free private parking as well as cross-country skiing tracks and mountain hiking trails. This hotel was absolutely lovely - better than our expectations!

Situated in Sunndalsøra, Sunndalsøra Hotell features free WiFi. Each accommodation at the 3-star hotel has mountain views, and guests can enjoy access to a shared lounge and to a bar. This is the only hotel around, do not expect to get the same hotel experience like in Trondheim, for example. Sunndalsøra is a small town, and the hotel is located at the heart of it. - I booked 2 double room, with 1 extra bed on a room for my daughter, both rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. We stayed just for 1 night but it was a great experience. The bed is comfortable, there's a TV with local Norwegian channels, and there is a fridge if you need one. - The scenery around the city is amazing, especially if you are not from Norway. If you use public transportation, the bus stop is right next to the hotel. There's also a taxi office near the hotel and bus stop if you need one. - The breakfast is great, there are options and their serving is generous. You also have free tea and coffee corner near the reception. - Wifi speed is fast, you can work in your room without hitch. - You can also keep your baggage in the hotel if you checked out before your bus/transport arrives.
