Staff were very helpful. They fixed the loud, squeaky bathroom door handle within a few hours of us reporting it. They loaned us an iron and ironing board. The location was excellent. It was quiet but fairly close to the main tourist area. There were good views in almost every direction. There was free parking and good WiFi. There were lots of shelves (though not in the bathroom). The shower was excellent (good pressure, steady temperature, good enclosure). The bed was softer-than-average, which I liked. The pillow was good (not too thick). The breakfast was good except for the juice which was watery. The on-site restaurant is very good and is open for dinner until 9 p.m., but it has only a small menu. (It is closed on Tuesday evenings.) There are other restaurants nearby, as well as a food truck that sells Thai food. The lounge area is roomy. There are no TV's which I liked (i.e. no loud TV sounds coming from other rooms). Though we heard some noise from the hallway, we never heard sounds from the two adjoining rooms. One can't accidentally lock oneself out of one's room because you have to use your key to lock the door.

The room is very clean and the most important, is very close to the trolltonga hiking. I will definitely recommend my friends to stay here if they visit Norway.

This hotel is located by Lake Sandvevatnet in the village of Odda, close to the Hardangervidda National Park and Folgefonna Glacier Park. The centre of Odda is 2.1 km away. Hotel upgraded our room for free, so we had wonderful view, and bathroom in it! Also we were hiking on Trolltunga so had a free shuttle from the hotel to P2 Tasty breakfast with an amazing view from the restaurant We were satisfied 100%
