The host Lars was warm and exceptionally helpful. The dinner and drinks were great, as was the breakfast. Everything was a very good value. The outdoor hot tub under the northern lights was epic. And the design of the property was stunning, including the main resturaunt venue, with nearly 360 degree views of the fjord, mountains, etc. The first image is from a nearby mountain, the rest are right at the Arctic Centre Resort.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel in the countryside of Tromso, Norway, and it was truly an exceptional experience. The hotel was located in a stunningly beautiful area, surrounded by lush forests and snow-capped mountains, and the peaceful surroundings made for a truly relaxing getaway. One of the standout features of this hotel was the exceptional local food served in their restaurant. The meals were prepared using the freshest local ingredients, with many of the vegetables and herbs grown on-site. The menu featured a variety of traditional Norwegian dishes with a modern twist, and each course was a work of art on the plate. The flavors were absolutely delicious, and the presentation was impeccable. The staff were also incredibly welcoming and helpful, with great recommendations for local activities and excursions in the area. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Tromso, especially those looking for a peaceful countryside getaway with exceptional local food. It was truly a magical experience, and I can't wait to return.

Amplasare foarte buna, practic la doua strazi de centru. Camera curata, bai avea incalzire in pardoseala :) . Camera e intr-adevar mica, dar pt o singura persoana e mai mult decat suficient , pt ca ai atatea de facut in Tromso , incat camera de hotel iti trebuie doar pt 5-6 ore de somn .

The hotel is conveniently located near the shopping area. There are also some good restaurants around there and the airport shuttle is in a two minute walk. The room was quiet, and the bed was comfortable. We've been provided an early check-in and that was very nice as we were tired and had heavy luggage.

Location was great in the center of Tromso. Staff were exceptional from reception being very friendly and helpful, The breakfast lady was great and always had a smile on her face and housekeeping were also friendly and helpful. Loved the night time waffles, the breakfast was great and cake and tea and coffee facilities were available 24/7. Beds were comfy and the shower was hot, with good pressure and heated floors. The view from the room was straight across the water to the cable car. Hotel located directly opposite the bus stop.

We got upgraded from a suite to a deluxe room and we scored! It was heavenly! Our bed looked out to the ocean and mountains. We wished we could have stayed a second night. Our best accommodation in Norway! I would go back in a heartbeat. Only problem is the cost of a deluxe room is prohibitive. The hotel saved us when it told us to leave our car the night before the ferry to Vesterlen. There just isn't enough space on the ferry for the volume of cars.

This is an absolutely perfect place to stay. Super staff, pristine rooms and public areas, located right on the marina. The restaurant serves a range of dishes, and those that we sampled were out of this world. We loved it and would hope to visit again sometime. Was a bit skeptical because of the not-so-great ratings and I must say that it was a great stay! Beds were comfortable, warm room, easy check in, stylish common area and parking literally at the doorstep. Simple hotel but all you need for an easy stay in Harstad.
