Staff couldn't have been more helpful, great room. Clean with all facilities provided 😁 Ended up staying an extra night! Great meals too.

Centrally located in Akaroa, this motel offers rooms with either a balcony or a patio. It also includes 500MB of free WiFi per day, per room. Akaroa Criterion Motel is situated opposite Children’s... Check in was easy; staff very friendly and accommodating. The bed was super comfortable and the linen was great quality. Little touches like the way the bed was dressed made such a difference. The couch was also very comfortable and the property clearly takes its commitment to cleaning very seriously. The toiletries in the bathroom were also of a great quality; presenting them in the pump packs is so much nicer than in the tiny squeeze packs. Better fro the environment too; less waste. The towels in the bathroom were soft and fluffy and hadn't been boiled to within an inch of their lives. All of this coupled with a lovely view of the water made this hotel a surprise packet; such good value for our 2 night getaway.

Set in Akaroa in the Canterbury region, Kānuka Cottage - Tranquil and relaxing has a patio and quiet street views. Very peaceful setting. Very close drive to Akaroa.Had everything we needed to prepare meals. Good communication with the owner.

Hideaway - A Couples Retreat is situated in Akaroa and offers a terrace. This cottage has a garden and free private parking. Very comfortable, quiet, cosy and relaxing.

Boasting sea views, Port Levy B & B Christchurch features accommodation with a private beach area and a patio, around 45 km from Christchurch Railway Station. Martin and Verity were very friendly and helpful hosts. They were industrious people who spent many years to make this remote area of Port Levy into a restful paradise. They planted many pine trees into a pine forest and harvest pine nuts. They planted different vegetables and herbs for cooking. Verity is an multi-talented artist and a chef. Therefore the meals she prepared for us were pleasing to our eyes and our palates. We wish we could be like chameleon that can fix one eye to the food, and the other to the view. The full English breakfasts and other choices were excellent, with different kinds of home-made jam to choose from. The optional dinner was sumptuous too. A spectacular sea view made the food even taste better. We enjoyed our meals inside when it was rainy and windy, and our breakfast outside on the balcony when it was warm and sunny. The beauty of the place shone through both rain and shine. This place could be named Port Levy BnBnDnV (Bed and Breakfast and Dinner and View).
