The staff was phenomenal and flexible after I mixed up dates. Super restaurant downstairs met all of our dining needs. Great pie shop around the corner!

The single room at Brown Pub was small, but comfortable, thrifty and perfect! There was a shared lounge area and kitchen on the same floor and shared bathrooms. It was all clean and comfy. I recommend! Good find.

Built in 1865 and restored in 1902, Otira Stagecoach Hotel is situated in the heart of the Arthur's Pass National Park. It offers antiques throughout as well as stagecoaches and horse wagons outside. A unique, 'out of the box' experience. The hotel is a living museum, with antique paraphernalia and curios everywhere. The furniture in the rooms is amazing. Feels like you have stepped back in time to the 1800s. Lester and Sam were excellent as hosts. Meals were great quality and value. The bar (available to in-house guests only) offered beer and wine at reasonable prices. There's not too much accommodation in the Otira / Arthur's Pass area with dining and bar facilities, so the Stagecoach Hotel fills a valuable niche.

The location and parking are very convenient. The apartment space and four rooms are very suitable for us. All the things in the kitchen are enough for us. Besides, the shower is very comfortable. Great and clean shower and bathroom. Beautiful and big back yard. Tasty breakfast. We had a great time and wish we could've stayed more!
