Located on the edge of Redwoods forest and overlooking the famous Whakarewarewa Geothermal Reserve and Historical Village, Rydges Rotorua features a purpose-built mountain bike and adventure equipment... Amazing views of geothermal springs and redwood forests from room. Lovely warm swimming pool and hot jacuzzis. Friendly helpful staff and a nice bar area to relax in. Room was spacious and extremely comfortable, my best sleep in weeks. Located very near springs and hiking trails, a bit far out of town but loved being near the trails.

Walking distance to everything in town and right across the street from Kuirau Park a free geothermal attraction with amazing views and foot bath. The mess hall was well maintained, the pool was warm, and the wifi was on point. They had computers and a quiet room for those who need to get work done. The staff were super helpful when I needed to add a day and very friendly.

The bed was SO COMFORTABLE. I had the best nights sleep I’ve had in 4 weeks traveling through New Zealand.
