If you ever get a chance to stay at Rachael’s and Mark‘s place, do it. I came a second time from Germany and will return for a third one. For the private waterfall, the quirky and heartwarming handmade details all around the grounds, the nightsky, feeding trouts, hearing blue ducks, or the room with costumes, but most importantly for feeling this unique spot between nature and garden. It is so peaceful and quiet it is absolutely mind-boggling.

Situated in Palmerston North and with Palmerston North Convention Centre reachable within 500 metres, Masonic Hotel features a bar, allergy-free rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a casino. Great reception by the hosts, they had a good spot to park my bike so that was nice. The hotel is close to the center so everything was within walking distance.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was dedicated parking behind the hotel. The room was very pleasantly furnished and decorated. It was clean and quiet. Check in was smooth. The hotel has a great bar/pub adjoining, where breakfast and dinner was served. It's an old hotel with great routines and processes in place; all in all a professsionally run hotel. It was a great stay.

The Powderhorn Chateau is situated in Ohakune, at the entrance to Tongariro National Park. Lovely accommodation. Nice cosy rooms , comfy beds and very kind friendly staff .

Hotel Coachman is located in the heart of Palmerston North. It offers a large outdoor swimming pool, 2 hot tubs, plus a fitness centre. Free Wi-Fi is included. We were very impressed by this accommodation, very big room with separate bedroom, felt like home.

Perfect for my family of three traveling through NZ. The staff are friendly and helpful. The resturant is quite good too.
