It reminded me of the hostel in Liechtenstein - well cleaned and spacious for each person. Massive kitchen area with proper recycling bins. Absolutely loved the quiet area and access to the sauna was just amazing after the hikes! Great for stargazing too! The rooms had enough space for luggage storage and curtain to avoid disturbance. Haka house provided shower gels, shampoo and conditioner in all their bathrooms which was great!

It is the perfect spot to discover the breathtaking Mount Cook National Park. I did several day hikes and even an overnight hike. I couldn't ask for a better place to stay in at Mount Cook!
