Location is also very close to the rocks.

Wonderful secluded beach cottage in forest setting 15 minutes south of Punakaiki. Pleasant 10 minute walk to beach. All necessary conveniences with comfortable bed and well-stocked kitchenette. Nice hot tub a minute walk away, shared with the other nearby cottage.

Tasman Sea Retreat features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Punakaiki, 2.5 km from Fox River Beach. The accommodation has a spa bath. Everything!!! Joe and Patrick’s emails, prior to our arrival, were exceptionally helpful. Its location is stunningly beautiful. The interior layout was perfect for the three of us. While we didn’t utilize the kitchen or hot tub, it was nice that they were available. We slept well here due to the quiet location and comfortable beds. The bathroom was wonderful, too.

The property was spotless and stylish. It made a great base for our short visit to the West Coast. Would stay there again.

Situated in Barrytown and only 13 km from Punakaiki Scenic Attraction, Forest Edge features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Beauteous space, artistic, serene, one with the surroundings! The space told a story and inspired me. Everything you need, Reba thought of. The place was adorned with two flower arrangements she put together. Would love to return!

Situated in Charleston and only 33 km from Punakaiki Scenic Attraction, Charleston Goldfields Accommodation features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. The hosts are the kindest people we have met on our journey up the west coast, the facility’s and location of the stay was excellent. If you are travelling up the west coast I would say this is the place to stay on the trip.

Situated in Charleston, within 33 km of Punakaiki Scenic Attraction, Charleston Goldfields Accommodation offers accommodation with air conditioning. The couch was super comfortable to lay out on and read or spotify or you tube to your hearts content. The bed was super comfy to rest and sleep on and the quality of the linen was nice to sleep in. The breakfast options are world class. All delivered in gorgeous glass containers with descriptive hand written labels. The caravan was solid as and yet super airy with big glass areas to make it feel big. The section is superb with lots of lawn space to give you space!!

Boasting accommodation with a private pool, sea view and a balcony, Beaconstone Eco Stay - off grid retreat is set in Charleston. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. We loved our night at Beaconstone Eco stay. Really regret only booking the one night. Being city folk it was so nice to switch off and we enjoyed an evening of playing cards and listening to CDs. Lovely walks right out your front door. Gorgeous sunset. Loved it.
