Built in 1865 and restored in 1902, Otira Stagecoach Hotel is situated in the heart of the Arthur's Pass National Park. It offers antiques throughout as well as stagecoaches and horse wagons outside. A unique, 'out of the box' experience. The hotel is a living museum, with antique paraphernalia and curios everywhere. The furniture in the rooms is amazing. Feels like you have stepped back in time to the 1800s. Lester and Sam were excellent as hosts. Meals were great quality and value. The bar (available to in-house guests only) offered beer and wine at reasonable prices. There's not too much accommodation in the Otira / Arthur's Pass area with dining and bar facilities, so the Stagecoach Hotel fills a valuable niche.

Boasting stunning views of mountains, river and the valley, Bealey Hotel is within a 30-minute drive of 5 ski fields. It offers a restaurant, barbecue facilities and free on-site parking. The view was stunning! Excellent staff and service.

Situated in Lincoln, within 19 km of Christchurch Railway Station and 21 km of Christchurch Art Gallery, The Famous Grouse Hotel features accommodation with a restaurant and a bar, and free WiFi... Everyone was friendly and good to be around. My room was perfect for just me. The only thing that I had a "problem" with was carryiny my suitcase up the stairs.

It was a very cozy and clean place to stay, and the host was incredibly friendly. They even allowed me to check in earlier and check out later.

Tucked nicely away but only 2 minutes from the main road. great attention to detail and excellent comms. loved the underfloor hearings in the bathroom!

Featuring garden views, Rolleston Paradise-Master Bedroom with Ensuite Only provides accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 24 km from Christchurch Railway Station. It was one of the best stays we had in NZ. Very friendly owner, beautiful place, comfy bed, everything you need. A very lovely place to stay for a really good price.

The Nook, a property with an open-air bath, a garden and barbecue facilities, is located in Arthur's Pass, 1.4 km from Devils Punchbowl Falls, 4.9 km from Temple Basin, as well as 47 km from Broken... The view and the extremely comfortable bed, it’s so much better in real than in the picture, very tastefully designed

Located in Otira, 12 km from Devils Punchbowl Falls, Rata Lodge Accommodation provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge. The bedroom was so cozy with extra blankets, humidifier and heaters. Very homey.

Chester Oaks B&B has pool views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in West Melton, 15 km from Orana Wildlife Park. One of my favorite stays so far in New Zealand. So kind hosts. Warm welcome and pampered all the time. The room is beautiful and cosy. The entire house and property is stunning. Highly recommended this Oase!
