The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. We enjoyed the luxury of the cottage. The kids loved as well watching Netflix on the TV. The air condotion came in handy on our arrival day. Our second day there it was pouring and we enjoyed very much being able to have so much room for us. The location near Hobbiton was as well great for us. The conversation with Brittany was very fast and friendly. Thanks heaps for the lovely card and surprise in the fridge.

Attention to detail was awesome and Carmen and her husband thought of everything to make this one of the best places I've stayed. Amazing location close to Hobbiton and fantastic views!

The host went the extra mile to make the stay brilliant. Little surprise on arrival that they certainly don't need to provide.

Lake Karapiro Lodge offers views of the surrounding countryside and lake. Gourmet breakfast is included. Facilities include free WiFi, an outdoor swimming pool, hot tub and sauna. Love the location, the views, the breakfasts and our hosts were great. Great spot. Very comfortable.

Set in Putaruru and only 46 km from Zorb Rotorua, Maple Retreat by Blue Spring offers accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. This guest house features a garden. Great room in a nice quiet street. Was easy to find, had what we needed and nicely laid out. Given we had several friends staying at different motels in Putaruru and hearing their feedback I think we hit the jackpot. The communication was really friendly and accommodating. Was a shame we didn't get time to sit outside with a cuppa as I think it would've been a really nice tranquil place to enjoy.
