What a fantastic surprise this stay ended up being. We booked it during our travels for a quick place to stop at after visiting Hobbiton and on our way to Auckland without expecting much. However, the old world charm, the excellently maintained hot springs, and the delicious dinner were all great surprises.

Kea Motel & Holiday Park is situated in Putaruru. Among the various facilities of this property are barbecue facilities and a garden. Both private parking and free WiFi are accessible at the hotel. Clean all necessary things was there including dishes, Clean towels, paid laundry microwave, heating equipments. Best stay!

Sheep, cows and chickens wandering around. Lovely home with lot's of room in the kitchen, dining room and lounge room. Lovely decks outside the bedroom. Beautiful cooked breakfast and very homely and competent host. We hope to visit again 🙏🏞️♥️

Great, quiet spot near a road but not noisy. Wonderful Appartment, great Gardens directly infront, meadows and cattle all around. Huge Appartment for 2, more than enough space and all the amenities one could need.

Boasting mountain views, Holiday Bliss - Kiwi Suite features accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 42 km from Mystery Creek Events Centre. It was lovely to have breakfast sorted in the morning. Carmen thoughtfully left a loaf of freshly made bread on the bench and treats in the fridge. The house was amazing, everything you need for a quick get away. And the bed was super comfy.

Situated 42 km from Mystery Creek Events Centre, Holiday Bliss features accommodation in Tirau with access to a hot tub. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. The host went the extra mile to make the stay brilliant. Little surprise on arrival that they certainly don't need to provide.

Il Lake Karapiro Lodge offre una vista sulla campagna circostante e sul lago. La colazione gourmet è inclusa. The views, the hosts, the breakfast; everything was simply amazing. This is a very unique place, managed by amazing people. Definitely worth a visit!

Set in Putaruru and only 46 km from Zorb Rotorua, Maple Retreat by Blue Spring offers accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. This guest house features a garden. Great room in a nice quiet street. Was easy to find, had what we needed and nicely laid out. Given we had several friends staying at different motels in Putaruru and hearing their feedback I think we hit the jackpot. The communication was really friendly and accommodating. Was a shame we didn't get time to sit outside with a cuppa as I think it would've been a really nice tranquil place to enjoy.
