Originally built in 1882, this charming hotel has been lovingly restored to its former glory and features an elegant restaurant and bar. Each room includes satellite TV and free Wi-Fi. Liked it so much we extended our stay. Started out at the Petit Hotel and moved into the Main Hotel after a few nights. Both were fantastic. Went to the restaurant for breakfast/lunch/dinner and all were great. Really central, we went for a wine tour (bike rentals are half a block away), played a round of golf (5 min drive away).

Well appointed accommodation in a great location. Staff were warm and welcoming. We appreciated the extras left in the fridge for breakfast. Everything was very clean.

There was homemade granola which was beautiful as well as homemade shortbread and a big bowl of cherries. The tea and coffee provided were also top quality.

I highly recommend this place. The hosts were very hospitable friendly and reliable. There was everything we needed and it was spotless, clean tidy and great interior decor. Off-street parking a bonus. Fenced off property with private back yard and outdoor area, perfect for our little dog. Everything provided for breakfast, great value for money. Very comfortable beds. Couldn't recommend it more highly.

There is a private entrance at the bed and breakfast for the convenience of those who stay.... Lovely, generous continental breakfast in the room as ordered. Beautiful high quality, NZ branded soap, shampoo, body moisturiser etc. Generous amounts of towels. Coffee machine with high quality pods waa appreciated. Private cottage, able to enjoy the privacy and quiet.

Situated in Martinborough in the Wellington region, Swan House has a patio. This property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. We had an awesome experience staying at Swan House! The rooms were impeccably clean, modern and the bed was super comfortable. We used the bike to go-about nearby which was very useful! But most importantly, Venessa and Graeme were the most hospitable hosts ever! It was my husband’s birthday and they decorated the room with special birthday balloons and a birthday banner which was the sweetest thing ever! Highly recommended! 😊
