The hosts were absolutely wonderful. Hamad picked us up and drove us to and from the camp, giving us a little free dune bashing on the way. He went above and beyond, taking pictures for us, and making stops to show us views, etc. The experience in the bedouin tent after dinner was one of the most memorable travel experiences ever. Breakfast was brought to the tent and was full of fresh fruit, dates, eggs, etc. All of the staff was very nice and helpful and the tent was clean and well maintained.

Superb and friendly owner and staff. Achmed, the owner, helped us out when we got stuck in tbe sand upon arrival. At night he gave a free tour into the desert, including a small campfire. Next morning he arranged a cameltour and gave us a daylight tour with his 4WD.

Puedes llegar perfectamente con un coche normal, el último tramo menos de 2 kilómetros lo realizas por una carretera de arena que están trabajando para asfaltarla. Se encuentra en los pies de una gran duna. Descanso y comida perfecto. No te pierdas los tours que organizan. Nosotros hicimos el tour por las dunas al atardecer. It’s only 2 hours away from Muscat. I would recommend rent a car to the meeting point Ibrahim or his brother will meet you at a location 15 mins away you CAN NOT access with out proper off roading vehicle. It was i thin 5-10 Oman dollar. The high way from muscat to Bidday was extremely easy to drove to.

To stay in a Desert Camp sleeping under the stars is a completely outstanding experience. Driving over the dunes, riding camels, sharing the local food with the family that accommodated us felt special indeed. The location of the camp is hidden, aqay from other camps or other people, so one can enjoy complete silence, darkness and inclusion with the nature. Provided breakfast and dinner had a traditional tone which we appreciated highly. Recommended!
