Nastanitev Richar’s home - experience Amantani with my family je v mestu Ocosuyo in ponuja restavracijo, shrambo za prtljago ter pogled na jezero. I absolutely loved ,my stay with Richar, Lucrezia and their daughter Isabel. They made me feel so at home. I loved my very clean room with a spectacular view of the lake from a few windows! Also there is a balcony to hang out and lake/star gaze. IT is incredibly peaceful there. The food was delicious, home made and very healthy. I loved eating with the family. My spanish is not very good but I was able to communicate well with them and Richar taught me some important Quechua words and I learned a lot about their community. Richar also showed me around his garden and he explained what crops he is growing. I met his chickens, guinea pigs and sheep. Their daughter was a fantastic guide and took me to the beach and we walked up Apu Pachamama together which was very special. It was a very memorable experience and I will definitely come back! One thing is that the village is on the other side of the Island from where you come in by boat. I rode on the back of a motorcycle for 20 minutes to get there! It was a thrill and a beautiful way to see more of the island!

José Luis, Pilar and their son were so welcoming and helpful, from organizing transportation to meeting me at the dock. The food was delicious, the space clean and comfortable, with a balcony overlooking the lake. They upgraded my room because I had just sprained my ankle before coming, and helped me with natural remedies to heal. Everything was wonderful and I could have stayed much more than 2 nights! The island is beautiful, do the walk around the whole island for gorgeous views and seeing local life in action. Thank you José Luis, Pilar and Luis!

The room was comfortable and well decorated, everything was spotless and I slept very well. Vidal and Sonia were the most fantastic hosts. The highlight for me was getting to know them and their home. Vidal helped with mototaxi transfers to the other side of the island and Sonia cooked some glorious meals. They also brought a portable heater in case I got cold. Amazing views. Truly a wonderful place - I would highly recommend.

Inca lodge - Amantani is located 37 km from Puno Port in Amantani island. Featuring a restaurant, the property also has a terrace. Every room includes a balcony. The accommodation is located in the community on the opposite side respect where the boat from Puno arrives. That's permitted to be the only tourist in this side of the island during our stay. You have to consider 20 soles per person to reach the accommodation from the pier with a motorbike. Otherwise you need at least 1 hour and 30 minute of walk. The host family is amazing, Justa prepared delicious meals and joined us for a while for the walking up to pacha mama on the top of the island. Amantanì is magic, it is a rural island surrounded by the lake. Stunning scenario where to relax and take great pictures. The night sky from the house is unforgettable.
