Located in Chernivtsi, Grand Royal has a casino. Featuring a terrace, the 4-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. As a family of 6 people, we booked two rooms: a Family room with a bunk bed and a Superior Double room. Both rooms were spacious enough and with modern design. The bathrooms were clean, and all the equipment seemed brand-new. The beds and mattresses were comfortable. The ‘upper’ floor of the bunk bed was easy-to-get and safe, even for a 4-years kid. As for the Double room, I want to mention the beautiful view from the balcony. We traveled by car and hassle-free parked it on the street at about 20 meters from the hotel. Starting from the entrance, it is a decent modern hotel. Without overstatement, it far exceeded my expectations.

The lovely young lady from the reception was very clear about all the price matters and everything we needed to know and made sure we understood everything. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. Especially the price was very good for the conditions they offered. Also, the breakfast at the restaurant was delicious, very big, and not expensive.

Very interesting city with wonderful architecture. Buildings represent all periods until 1941. The city escaped damage from the war. There are very good restaurants throughout the city, and Bukovina food is exceptionally good. Must see the center and theatre squares. The museum of Bukovina jewish History on the Theatre square, the Art museum on the central square. Walk up the main street with its cafes and restaurants. A visit tto tthe Jewish cemetery is worthwhile. It is a small city so that it is easy to walk around, taxi's are plentiful and very cheap. R estaurants: Knaus and Allurin cafe.

Pension La Roata is the most beautiful and interesting place I have seen in Bucovina, it is not a single pension with rooms, it is a mixture of traditional and modern houses and cottages, congratulations to Raluca for creating and maintaining such a nice place.
