Gornjak hotel&restaurant is located in the heart of the Gornjačka gorge, surrounded by forrest, on the bank of Mlava river, facing the medieval monastery Gornjak but also on the main road and easily accessible, with sufficient parking places. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with big balconies facing the monastery. The food is exceptional, very tasty, home-made, portions are big and can be shared. The staff are plaesant, flexible and disposable at all times. The last morning of our stay I wasn't feeling well and the manager had pleasantly allowed us to vacate the room later, with no extra charge for the late check out. There are lots of walking tracks around the facility, well marked with descriptions of the lenght, time needed to get to the final point and level of difficulty. There are lots of cultural, historical and natural beauties to visit in the vicinity of the pansion, not more than 10-20km away, by car or bike - the ride is gorgeous!

Everything was spot on from the moment we arrived, very friendly and helpful staff, enough parking space. Both breakfast and dinner were excellent, more than enough variety and tasty. Room was spotless clean and we really enjoyed our stay.

This is top 3! The host Anita did absolutely everything in her powers to help us with everything. We wanted to rent scooters? She called and told us where to go. The rooms are fascinating, looking much better and cosy than in the pictures. They have that slight woody smell which makes you feel home. The food at the restaurant is really good. They put a lot of love in this business and you can feel that in every detail.
