The resort met all my expectations and I was impressed with my stay. The welcoming was superb. I was offered an upgraded superior room which was super clean and specious with great amenities. The food was what i expected and the indian Chef Mr Vinod did a great job in preparing my vegetarian meal. All staff were super friendly and everything was taken care of. I will definitely return to stay at Virunga Inn.

This was probably the best stay we had all vacation. The people who work here are polite and very friendly, food is nice and the service is incredible. After the long hike they welcomed us with open arms and made a fire for us in the room. Just like they do every night when it gets cold. They also insisted on cleaning our hiking shoes and washing our hiking clothes. It was an experience to never forget! We even had a few Kinyarwanda lessons during dinner and we loved it. Murakoze chane for having us!!

Kinigi Cottage is a hidden gem among the overpriced lodges of the area. We stayed in the second floor room with the huge balcony, and we had amazing views of the volcanoes nearby. The property is walking distance from the Dian Fossey museum and central to all activities in the region. Our kids had a great time playing in the beautiful gardens all around the building, and the indoor and outdoor fires added a great touch of character to our evening. We had a wonderful dinner (extra cost) and an even better breakfast with a full spread of goodies (included). I will not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone staying in the region. Perfect.

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Christian le Manager avec sa gentillesse et son beau sourire. Les petites villas individuelles étaient très confortables. La cheminée dans la chambre, les bouillottes au couché très appréciées et la literie très confortable. Nous avons aussi apprécié notre voiture lavée ainsi que nos chaussures de marches après la visite aux gorilles! Tout le personnel est prévenant et très souriant.
