The resort met all my expectations and I was impressed with my stay. The welcoming was superb. I was offered an upgraded superior room which was super clean and specious with great amenities. The food was what i expected and the indian Chef Mr Vinod did a great job in preparing my vegetarian meal. All staff were super friendly and everything was taken care of. I will definitely return to stay at Virunga Inn.

Ingagi Park View Lodge has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Kinigi. This 3-star hotel offers room service and a concierge service. This was probably the best stay we had all vacation. The people who work here are polite and very friendly, food is nice and the service is incredible. After the long hike they welcomed us with open arms and made a fire for us in the room. Just like they do every night when it gets cold. They also insisted on cleaning our hiking shoes and washing our hiking clothes. It was an experience to never forget! We even had a few Kinyarwanda lessons during dinner and we loved it. Murakoze chane for having us!!

Kinigi Cottage is a hidden gem among the overpriced lodges of the area. We stayed in the second floor room with the huge balcony, and we had amazing views of the volcanoes nearby. The property is walking distance from the Dian Fossey museum and central to all activities in the region. Our kids had a great time playing in the beautiful gardens all around the building, and the indoor and outdoor fires added a great touch of character to our evening. We had a wonderful dinner (extra cost) and an even better breakfast with a full spread of goodies (included). I will not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone staying in the region. Perfect.

Wow wow wow… can I also give 100 stars? A very Cousy but basic place to stay at the Vulcanos Nationalpark! However the best thing about the Vulcanoes view guest house is the staff. No wish is to big and everything is made possible! For example they carried the table, chairs and food on to a field. I never had dinner with such an amazing view!! So I just can recommend to stay here.

With mountain views, Sambora Kinigi is situated in Kinigi and has a restaurant, room service, bar, garden and terrace. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Wonderful staff, very friendly, genuine and truly kind people. We felt at home right when we stepped in and were welcomed by amazing dancers from a tribe nearby. We really enjoyed dancing with them all day and all night. Rwanda is a country rich in culture and the accommodation made it a point to actively educate us about that, which we really appreciated. The place is very close to the volcanoes national park, making it easy for monkey and gorilla trekking (just 5 min drive away). We would highly recommend this place to everyone looking for a wonderful and unforgettable experience in the Virunga mountains, in the Northern province of Rwanda.
