The resort met all my expectations and I was impressed with my stay. The welcoming was superb. I was offered an upgraded superior room which was super clean and specious with great amenities. The food was what i expected and the indian Chef Mr Vinod did a great job in preparing my vegetarian meal. All staff were super friendly and everything was taken care of. I will definitely return to stay at Virunga Inn.

The people who work here are polite and very friendly, food is nice and the service is incredible. After the long hike they welcomed us with open arms and made a fire for us in the room. Just like they do every night when it gets cold. They also insisted on cleaning our hiking shoes and washing our hiking clothes. It was an experience to never forget! We even had a few Kinyarwanda lessons during dinner and we loved it. Murakoze chane for having us!!

The place is not only offering accomodations but also having A Tour company in tours and travel section with Tour operation service , Tour Guiding service as well as tour consultancy services! We came in late (much later than expected) at around 11pm at night and they were waiting us and still prepared dinner at our choice. Took all efforts to make the central areas as well as the lodge nicely warm with open fireplace and even hot-water bottle in the beds to warm it up (at night it's pretty fresh there). Excellent, very friendly, caretaking staff. all to highest satisfaction. Very romantic place for couples.
