This intimate Uppsala hotel is housed in a 19th-century building, 100 metres from the Uppsala Cathedral. Great, cosy, super central. Nice breakfast. Great small hotel in walking distance to downtown. Staff was nice and helpful. Uppsala is very enjoyable and the Swedes are very warm and friendly people.

Located 1.4 km from Gränbystaden shopping centre, ArenaHotellet i Uppsala features a restaurant, bar and views of the city. Free private parking is available on site subject to availability. Hotel was generally very good. Staff in the hotel were very nice. The room was quite calm. It's good for the rest. For sure, I will come back to this hotel during my next trip to Uppsala. One more time, thank you to all hotel personnel for their good work and hospitality. Near the hotel is a fuel station and a lot of shopping centres.

Elite Hotel Academia is located in central Uppsala, a 1-minute walk from Uppsala Central Station. Guests can enjoy the rooftop sky bar with city views. Everything! The rooms were very comfortable, the staff was extremely helpful, the breakfast was delicious, and the location was excellent

This modern-designed hotel is directly across from Uppsala Central Station. Uppsala Concert and Congress Hall is 150 metres away. WiFi and access to a state-of-the-art gym are free. Hotel was great and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Will definitely visit again

Grand Hotell Hörnan is set in an early 20th-century building, 400 metres from Uppsala Central Station. All rooms include a flat-screen TV, a seating area and free WiFi access. Excellent location, big room with nice view and comfortable bed. Wonderful breakfast with a lot of options.

Dating back to 1930, this intimate hotel is within 5 minutes’ walk of Uppsala Cathedral and Uppsala Castle. Akademihotellet’s fresh rooms have a flat-screen satellite TV, private bathroom and desk. The location could not be better! It was right where you want to be! Walk to everything worth seeing.

Located in Uppsala city centre, this hotel offers soundproofed rooms with satellite TV and free WiFi. The hotel staff were great and very helpful and positive. The room and bathroom were good size, comfortable and clean. The beds (two side-by-side twin beds) were very comfortable. The room didn’t have air conditioning but windows were openable and temperature mostly comfortable, with a fan in the closet we used a couple times (iron and ironing board there too). Plenty of room to unpack. There is a “conference room” on the lowest floor which is very comfortable for late night or early morning reading / internet browsing. Our price included both breakfast and evening meal, both very good, especially the breakfasts. The dining spaces were quite crowded but there was adequate, hard-working staff to quickly clear and clean tables, as well as to refill everything. Overflow could also go to the conference room or to some tables outside near the main entrance. The hotel parking spaces were full when we arrived but there is an underground garage (separate business) only 100 meters away which was actually cheaper (165 crowns per 24 hours). The location was very good - about 1 km from the river / beginning of the old town, with the newer main shopping streets and railway station even closer. Uppsala is a wonderful town for a weekend visit. I also recommend a drive down to Sigtuna and some of the nearby castles / palaces.

The staff were so nice and friendly, the food was tasty and lots of choice for breakfast. It’s in a good place of Uppsala, easy to get to and not far from the train station.
