The owners of this small hotel are the most friendly, caring and engaged hotel hosts (owners & operators at the same time) I've ever met. They were super helpful, outgoing, flexible. They provided us with a lot of advise regarding what to visit, where to it, what to avoid. They gave us a good bike map. The owner help me with a flat tire without even asking him for it. True friends for their guests. The hotel has a very boutique style, just 10 or so rooms, small room for breakfasts. Everything clean, nicely decorated with good quality furniture - combination of modern and rustic. Air conditioning worked well and helped us keep the temperature at the proper level despite >30 deg C outside every day. There was a storage place for bikes, charging stations for electric cars and sockets for charging ebikes. The hotel is located at the edge of the Old Town of Skofja Loka - restaurants, shops, castle, etc. - all within short walking distance. The selection during the breakfast was not big, but everything provided was of a very good quality. When we asked the owner for a warm sausages (not only eggs), they started providing in from the next day. I brought once my own grapes to mix them with jogurt (normally they provided peach, banana and apples) and when the owner noticed it, they started providing also grapes for all the guests. They really cared.

The location was fantastic next to the old bridge & particularly good if you're arriving by bus. We had such a lovely welcome by the owner who served a special honey drink & told us about the layout of the town. Room was very comfortable & had a good view & breakfast was delicious. It was especially nice that they gave us a handmade traditional Christmas cake which we savoured on a bus trip later. I'm so glad we got to stay here & enjoy such lovely hospitality.

Hotel Lonca - Superior er staðsett í Škofja Loka, 23 km frá Ljubljana-lestarstöðinni, og býður upp á gistingu með garði, einkabílastæði, sameiginlegri setustofu og bar. I loved this modern hotel! The staff was welcoming, the room was clean, the breakfast was diversified and tasty. The little town of skofja loka is walking distance, Bled lake is a 35 minute drive, Ljubljana is a 20 minute trip by car. We will surely come back here when coming back to beautiful Slovenia ☺️

Turizem Loka - Hotel Vila Loka er staðsett í Loka í innan við 24 km fjarlægð frá Ljubljana-lestarstöðinni og 26 km frá Ljubljana-kastalanum. The apartment is very well equipped with new furniture and kitchen utensils. There is everything what you need. It is a good place as a base to visit a lot of tourist attractions. The owner is an amazing person, nice and helpful. She answered all the questions we had, smiled all the time.

The perfect combination of a place full of life and yet peaceful. Spectacular views of the mountains from both the restaurant and our private balcony. Can't imagine a warmer welcome or more comfortable stay.

Apartment Room Old City - Apartment Slavija er nýuppgert heimagisting í Škofja Loka, í sögulegri byggingu, 23 km frá Ljubljana-lestarstöðinni. Ókeypis reiðhjól og garður eru til staðar. The apartment is clean and tidy, there is wi-fi. The beautiful surroundings of medieval Skofja Loka and a great base for exploring Slovenia. The owner is the nicest person in Slovenia. We left a few things in the apartment after we left and he sent everything back to us. I recommend

Gostilna Pension Blegoš er staðsett í Poljane nad Škofjo Loko, 1,6 km frá Stari vrh-skíðasvæðinu og 20 km frá Loka-Loka. Gististaðurinn er með garð. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the view was amazing, the rooms were clean and the breakfast was good.

Mini Hotel er staðsett í Škofja Loka, 26 km frá Ljubljana-kastala og 31 km frá Adventure Mini Golf Panorama. Boðið er upp á bar og garðútsýni. Skofja Loka is a really nice town, and the hotel is perfectly situated. The view from the hotel garden is really beautiful too. Breakfast was good, beds comfy, and the rooms were huge.
