Hotel Studničky is situated in the village of Vernár and only 50 metres from the Vernár - Studničky Ski Area. Each room features a TV, a balcony or a loggia and a bathroom with toiletries and towels. Great place and very nice people. Especially gentelman who serves breakfast - very helpful and polite person. The breakfast was huge and we loved it. The place of the hotel is charming - quiet and magical.

The location, the view, and the atmosphere were just the job for a snug holiday. The snow-capped Tatras and the greenery of Slovak Paradise National Park created an ideal background to our morning coffee or an end-of-the-day glass of dry red. The staff were great - they got out of their way to make our stay better- Thank you for the delicious garlic soup served to us in the front garden. The breakfast was delicious, varied, and rich enough to keep you hiking for a few hours in the National Park.

Located in Spišská Nová Ves, 3 km from the Slovak Paradise National Park, Hotel Metropol features a spa centre, a restaurant and en-suite rooms with free WiFi. Everything was nice and clean. We got an AC even though we did not ask for one. Should you need to, upgrading a room is very easy if there are other rooms available. I always go to this hotel when visiting family in the East of Slovakia, they never let me down. The service is exceptional compared to Slovak standards. The reception is open 24-7, whatever you need they have. I needed an extra towel, and the nice lady at the reception gave me a fresh one, even at 3 in the morning. The breakfast is great and the amenities (spa, massage, dining hall, bar) are excellent. Remember to book a massage at least a day ahead, usually they are completely booked out. This hotel really meets everything a traveler like me expects.
