Palatial facilities, nice staff. Yossra was very friendly and helpful. Good bar, huge buffet dinner (50 TND extra).

You can organize lot of different activities through hotel staff (camel or horse riding, bikes, etc. ). Food was nice, rooms are clean, we even had a mini fridge. Would recommend.

Grand Sud, la maison de sable is situated in Douz and offers a garden, barbecue facilities and a shared lounge. Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Grand Sud is at the edge of the Sahara! Probably one of the last homes before you get to Algeria! The location is wonderful. The host is so warm, welcoming, and kind that he makes the stay even better. Plus, if you want to go camping in the desert by camel he will arrange it all for you easily and affordably. So incredible to leave by camel from the hotel into the desert. A car (we had two wheel drive no problem to get here) is probably essential since town is 12-15 minutes driving. The sunset from the upper patio is beautiful over the date palms. Stay here.

Faima is a recently renovated villa in Douz, where guests can make the most of its garden and shared lounge. The property has inner courtyard views. Everything was excellent including facilities, bedding, shower and towels. Very welcoming. It was the nicest place that we stayed in during the past month in Tunisia and Morocco. Excellent breakfast and cookies. If we could rate it higher than 10, we would.

Maison Proche De Désert Douz is situated in Douz and offers barbecue facilities. A great stay in the dates farm. Welcoming host Fadil who made sure we had everything we needed. Ferid was in touch through whatsapp prior to arrival. Dinner was great and plenty, tasty food and the bread making in the sand was a nice experience. Rooms were comfortable, it had all the amenities required. Highly recommended.

Offering garden views, Dar Barka in Kebili offers accommodation and a garden. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. Nice for a few nights, the owners helped us with a heating then it didn’t work!

Private Camp25km-from DOUZ is a recently renovated luxury tent in Douz, where guests can make the most of its massage services and shared lounge. Mohammed the personal singer and Abdel the cook were simply amazing. hospitality second to none and full of information about their local culture. I booked on the same day via what's app and the owner was very accomodating and picked us up just several hours after initial contact to take us to the tent. What a unique experience !
