It is beautifully designed and set right at the foothills of the mountains so had a great feel to it. The breakfast is also definitely worth it. Most importantly, the owner went above and beyond to help us when we got into a spot of trouble so we felt very taken care of and appreciated that! Would recommend friends stay here.

What a wonderful place to spend a few days, I love this style of guesthouse. Hao and Lily are kind, caring hosts who treated us like family. We were staying here when the recent earthquake hit and Hao took personal interest in our safety and comfort after it happened. Expect true warmth and hospitality when you visit. The space is comfortable and the location is great too, in a quiet little neighborhood of Fushi village just down the road from the entrance to Taroko NP. I would definitely return!

Best place we stayed at in 6 weeks in Taiwan! :) Lisa and Boya are the most wonderful hosts and we felt at home right away. Delicious breakfast and coffee, amazing details like cultural tour and music nights, so close to stunning Taroko Gorge and even pick up service from the train station Xincheng - couldn't be better. This was a very pretty property and the room was beautiful. It’s set at the foothills of a mountain that made the whole view pretty awesome. May (the host) was especially amazing helping us with our itinerary and plans. She goes out of her way to make the guests feel welcome and comfortable. The breakfast was superb too! The location is great and is just 10 minutes by drive from Taroko national park.
