Cozy B&B. Lily and Hou were very welcoming. As we didn’t have our own transport they drove us to the station and into town for dinner. It was a great location for exploring Taroko national park. It is close to the bus station heading to the park

Crossing The Rainbow Bridge B&B is located in Xiulin. Free cable internet access is available in public areas. Free private parking is available on-site. We had very late arrival and planned to take a taxi from the train station, only to find that there are no taxis at that time. Turned out there was only one car in the parking lot, that of the owner who decided to pick us up!! Couldn't have had a better start ;-) Owner is so very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is very good and the staff is also very friendly. The rooms are spacious and clean. Garden is very nice and the location is so close to the entrance to the Gorge. Again the owner offered to drop us off at the station to rent a scooter (big tip to explore the Gorge). I highly recommend this small family owned hotel

Best place we stayed at in 6 weeks in Taiwan! :) Lisa and Boya are the most wonderful hosts and we felt at home right away. Delicious breakfast and coffee, amazing details like cultural tour and music nights, so close to stunning Taroko Gorge and even pick up service from the train station Xincheng - couldn't be better. Thank you SO MUCH!

Hualien Taroko Mountain Dream B&B is located in Hualien, only a 5-minute walk from Taroko National Park. All rooms here will offer beautiful mountain views. Free WiFi access is available. This has to be the best play to stay in Taroko, hands down. The hospitality from the hosts is exceptional. Sophia and her husband are very caring, friendly and genuine. We accidentally checked in a day early and Sophia accommodated us no problems whatsoever. She gave me her time and recommendations for our time in Taroko which was very kind. Breakfast is fantastic. I came down with a cold the day we were leaving and she was kind enough to deliver breakfast to our room since I didn't want to spread any germs. The rooms were large, clean and comfortable. I can completely recommend Taroko Mountain Dream with no hesitations, thank you Sophia!

Overlooking Pacific Ocean and Taroko Valley, Li Wu Zuo Cun B&B offers accommodation with free Wi-Fi access in Hualien. It features a large garden. Rooms here are all air-conditioned. This was a very pretty property and the room was beautiful. It’s set at the foothills of a mountain that made the whole view pretty awesome. May (the host) was especially amazing helping us with our itinerary and plans. She goes out of her way to make the guests feel welcome and comfortable. The breakfast was superb too! The location is great and is just 10 minutes by drive from Taroko national park.
