Everything! Amazing location, super helpful and friendly staff, fabulous deck from which you can see elephants if you’re lucky! Food was plentiful and good, tent had a mattress so more comfy than expected, warm showers in a clean bathroom block - and I got so close to elephants in the grounds. Sleep to the sound of animals! Amazing.

The staff is so incredibly nice and really do everything to make the stay a great experience. The room is great. The balcony is perfect after a long game drive day to chill and enjoy the fresh juice and good food. Highly recommend staying there.

The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, and made us feel at home. The animals (both monkeys and dogs) added a special feeling to the place as well.

Songbird Safari Lodge & Campsite features a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Katunguru. The staff was the best we've had in our month in Uganda! The place is even lovelier than in the pictures and the location is amazing for any activities in the area of Queen Elisabeth. As a bonus, the elephants really pass directly through the campsite every night.
